Our versatile sliding tailstock die holder will help you cut accurately aligned threads on your lathe using standard dies.

Button die holders are used to hold different diameter dies and freely slide on a fixed arbor which is attached to the tailstock with a Morse Taper shank.

These die holders get locked onto the arbor with the help of a pin allowing the holders to slide approximately 1-1/2" of travel distance. once locked, the die holders will not rotate and will only slide.

A pin punch is also included in the kit to knock the dies out of the holders if at all required, just a light tap from the back will do the job.
